Helping businesses across Derby with their new phone systems, business mobile contracts and leased lines, Invictus Communications has further reaffirmed their support for the regional business community by coming on board as Headline Sponsors of the DerbyshireLive Business Awards.
Recognising companies of all sizes and from a number of sectors, winning one of the event’s coveted awards provides businesses with a significant boost. With 16 awards up for grabs, the night marks the highlight of the regional business calendar and a variety of businesses from across the local area will look to be nominated.
Johnny McPhee is a Telecommunications Specialist at Invictus and was keen to explain why they made the decision to become Headline Sponsors of the event.
“Invictus Communications’ core ethos is to buy local, sell local and support local. As a fast-growing company ourselves, our telecommunications services are all tailored to business customers’ individual needs to increase productivity, security and flexibility as well as reducing costs,” he said.
“We are proud to be active members of the Derbyshire business community and have an extensive referral partner network with like-minded businesses to provide benefits for mutual customers. We therefore relish the opportunity to be part of the DerbyshireLive Business Awards to applaud and champion fellow local businesses who are leading lights in their industry sectors.”
One of the best things about these awards is that they don’t just celebrate the success of big businesses. Companies that have just opened their doors in the region and ones that are looking to make the next steps in their sector are also honoured.
Johnny highlighted the factors that make Derby’s business community so special.
“We are fortunate to have a strong local business community where companies large and small are committed to supporting each other. Our customers and referral partners recognise that dealing with other local businesses results in high quality customer service and benefits the local economy,” he said.
“The DerbyshireLive Business Awards celebrate all that is great about our business community – from leadership and entrepreneurial spirit to innovation and community support.
“They remind us all in business that we are part of a bigger picture in a city and county which continues to flourish across all sectors thanks to the firm foundations of our strong and proud industrial heritage.”
This year’s awards will be taking place on Wednesday 3 June at Derby College’s Roundhouse venue.
